Spring break is a wonderful time :) I went to the beach today!! Toby (our professor) has been taking us to the most awesome places so far, and today was beach day! :) We went to Port Fourchon and Grand Isle which is about 2 hours away from New Orleans. They are the cutest little towns where all the oil rigs are. Very conservative area, but it was just so.. nice! Small houses, small groceries stores and cafes. It is a different lifestyle, just slower... relaxing. I really like it, it seems like a beautiful area to be in the summer, especially when the storms roll in. Jelly.
Went to this DELICIOUS diner! I ordered the fried oyster po-boy which was sooo good! Didn't make me feel as sick as yesterday's food, I quite enjoyed it and I'm glad I ordered it!
Morgan got a hardshell fried crab!
Beach time! Trippy double persons because of my camera's panomara mode.
So.. BP DEFINITELY lied when they said they cleaned the oil spill.. they're still cleaning up down at the beaches! We couldn't even go to the first spot we wanted to because it was not safe at all for us to go to :(
