Aahhh.. nothing like rediscovering how much you love your taste in music in a form of "OH MY GOSH I LOVE THAT SONG!" in your iTunes <3
Anyways, I was talking to my sisters today (They're both in Oregon with my mom :( NOT FAIR!) and I realized I never posted about this random little event that happened when me and Morgan went out to lunch a few weeks ago.
We were actually going to this halal hotdog place, but it was closed because they ran out of supplies after Mardi Gras. We were stumped! We walked around, didn't really find anywhere to eat at first. We stopped by Morgan's workplace and the incredibly sweet women there recommended Napoleon's Hat, a restaurant nearby.
We walked on over there and I couldn't tell if it was open or not because the windows were really really dark. I peer in and this statue of Napoleon peers back out to me (further making me think the place was closed because they put the statue right in front of the door) and then it moved!! It was a man dressed up as Napoleon!
We went in, laughing, and I figured that he was the greeter and asked him for a table for two.
Well.. he took great offense to that and replied "I don't serve you!"
...Oh.
Then a server came over to seat us and this weird baffling guy just disappeared!! We had no idea who he was, just that he was very rude!
Later that week, Morgan asked her co-workers about him and they claimed they have never seen him before and they were quite the frequent diner. What the heck!? They thought she was making him up!
Oh I wish! It wasn't his birthday or death day when we went... so I dunno who he was!
What a character!!
Fun fact: The restaurant was actually the place Napoleon was suppose to be exiled to, but he never made it to New Orleans. Weird isn't it!? They built the place just for him!
