Sleepy

Having the flu is not the best way to have your first full week to your new surroundings.  When I'm sick, I want my family.  I think my parents get more worried that I'm sick than I do.  It's cute.  So being miserablely sick, missing home, in unfamiliar and not yet comfortable surroundings.... yeah, I'll say it, I hated New Orleans for a few days.  I cursed it and I wanted to go back to Michigan (even though my parents are chilling in Bangladesh right now.. which is oddly where I was suppose to be too).

But now I am calm(er) and enjoying my surroundings.  It really helps that I get along and really like the other girls I came here with, they're like super sweet and helpful and fun.  Good people can make any place better! (Hoorah for good people! Yay? Nay? Idunno, you people don't talk)

I got up too early, which is the only reason I'm typing, and I guess I'll just post up stuff!

First parade of Mardi Gras! So many people, it was so hard to get thru crowds! (Esp when people are p. rude too yeesh!)

Me and Takisha!

Morgan & Molly lookin cute!

Trying to get all of us haha

One of the float people.  I forget what the parade was called.. Crewe de.. sumthinornother.  It was just a lil risque, but it was a lot of fun!  First Mardi Gras parade? Success!

Oh and this is just my dinner I made one night.  Seasoned fish with green beans and brown rice, omnom.

Alright, time for work! More blogging for another time.  Later!
