Don't Rain on my Parade!

Listening to Barfi! songs make me happy.  Mostly cause the songs are fun as happy go lucky like the movie and I really loved the movie.  Ranbir Kapoor is so damn good at what he does!  Talent for sure!

Anyways, after healing for a few days (I'm really angry at this flu!), I finally went out and enjoyed me some parades!!

Before I go on with this post, let's clear some misconceptions.  Parades are fun, they all have themes, and the floats throw out beads to people.  You do not have to show anything to get beads.  In fact, you're dumb if you did because a pack of beads at the local store is like $3.50 so buy that instead of losing your dignity.  

Got beads?

Anyone can get beads at the parades.  You basically go and cheer and yell when a float passes by and you get beads.  It's a weird concept, but it's a lot of fun.  Especially when you get specialty beads.  You got your normal beads, which anyone anywhere in the world (ish) can get, and you got your beads that are specialized to that parade (Crew).  The latter are rarer to get and it's a great feeling to get them!  Too bad children and old people tend to get the cooler stuff -_-.  I'm not sure why, but I should kidnap me a child to get me some cool stuff... although I'm sure that's called 'pimping' my child and I shouldn't do it.  Whoops.

SO MUCH EXCITEMENT!

Oh this guy... he was just dancing up a storm before the parade started!  Also stole the football people were throwing around which made an interesting "monkey in the middle" game.

After this, I got too interested in catching beads.

Dog parade!!  Omg so much cuteness!  Please "awwwh" at all the cutie dressed up! We also saw someone with an MSU shirt and I yelled "Go Green!" and he said "yaaaaay!".. He clearly does not go to MSU.  We also met another nice woman whose sister goes to MSU who does know what Go Green means!  Funny how loyalty can be!
